Azhar Ali


Azhar Ali (born February 19, 1985 in LahorePunjab) is a Pakistani international cricketer [1]
He made his Test debut for Pakistan against Australia in the first Test at Lord's in July 2010. Azhar is one of the few Pakistani cricketers (after the introduction of ODI) to play a test before ODI.
He is a right-hand batsman and an occasional leg-break bowler who has played for Lahore, Lahore Blues, Lahore Whites, Abbottabad, Khan Research Laboratories, Punjab and Huntly (Scotland) during his career.[2]

He made his debut against Australia and scored 17 runs in his debut innings before he was caught behind by Tim Paine in the second innings he scored 42 runs but Pakistan lost the match by 150 runs. [3] In the second test match against Australia in the first innings of the test he scored 30 runs and after that he scored his maiden half-century in the second innings when he scored 51 runs as pakistan one there first test match against Australia for 15 years. [4] Azhar Ali infamously also has the slowest-duck in international cricket by not scoring of 32 balls before finally being caught in the slips [5]
